Spot the happy vegemites! Local members Geoff Wilson (Ferny Grove) and Rod Welford (Everton) celebrating Australia Day with Mitchelton State School happy vegemites, Eliza Buzacott-Speer and Ella Craig.

What a day of fun and celebration.  Mitchelton State School held a special Australia Day celebration for students and families.

Students came dressed as something Australian and participated in a variety of Australian activities and games during the day.

Education Minister Rod Welford and I had the enviable task of judging the best dressed and original costume designs for each class.

Congratulations to all the students, parents and teachers on a great day.
