Philip Statham, Ferny Grove Electorate Officer

2007 started sadly for the many people who knew my electorate officer, Philip Statham, who died early in the new year.   Philip was an exceptional person who brought outstanding qualities to his role in my office – compassion, intelligence, good humour and a great passion for social justice. 

He used these qualities in his day to day dealings with my constituents when he provided help, information and advice.  

It was a great privilege to have worked with Philip.  He joined my office on 2nd January 2002 and died on 2nd January 2007 – five years to the day, and we all miss him very much.
