Minister for Transport, Rachel Nolan, recently visited the Ferny Grove Railway Station Car park with Member for Ferny Grove, Geoff Wilson, to discuss the proposed car park redevelopment.
âGetting a car park redevelopment proposal off the ground was one of my commitments to the people of Ferny Grove during the recent State Election and Iâm working hard to see it happen. Iâve taken the opportunity to offer our new Minister for Transport a first hand look at the issues facing commuters in Ferny Grove,â Mr Wilson said.
Ms Nolan said she welcomed the opportunity to gain a first-hand perspective of the situation for Ferny Grove residents.
âI thank the Member for raising this with me and I recognise the advantages of having a private company come on board to progress this development,â Ms Nolan said. âAs Minister for Transport my earliest priorities are simply to make public transport better â more accessible and sustainable. I look forward to working with Geoff to improve public transport services for the residents of this area.â Sign Up for free e-mail updates!
