2010 Post Budget Business Breakfast a success.
Over one hundred local business people and community reps attended the recent business breakfast at the Arana Hills Leagues Club earlier this month.
The breakfast was a joint initiative of the Hills Chamber of Commerce with State Members for Ferny Grove and Everton Geoff Wilson MP and Murray Watt MP. The keynote speaker was Deputy Premier Paul Lucas, who was able to outline the benefits of the Queensland State Budget to local businesses.
The breakfast raised funds for the Hills District PCYC’s Saturday night After Dark Basketball Program. The Basketball Program plays a vital role in engaging the youth in the area and provides a venue for them to spend their Saturday nights safely.
